I THINK the past criticisms of Caesar was very unwarranted, I've never seen him mistreated any dog in all the episodes that I've seen on Dog Whisperer. As a matter of fact he teaches the dog owners just what he has learned from years of being with them growing up in his native Mexico Farm. If they don't follow through and practice what he has shown them during the episode and they are back to square one, with the dog having the same issues, ie: the owners being the followers rather than an assertive calm leader.

Thank you Cesar!! I have recently met a few new dogs that were quite excitable and jumpy. Not having ever been around dogs before, I had no idea how to handle this, and I was (of course) doing everything wrong—either moving away, or giving affection to the excited dog. Thank you for showing me how to take control of that situation so that the dog will respect my space. I'm excited to try this out the next time I meet a new dog!
